Way back in the start of 2012, Keeper got it’s very first client contract with global leaders in cardio-respiratory diagnostic devices & services; Vitalograph. They were extremely busy at the time and needed a ten-person C# and QA team at onsite in Co. Clare.
I was delighted with the opportunity, rolled up the sleeves and got that substantial team up and running over the coming months. We had a great response from developers in Poland and from some of the local talent from the surrounding region too. Over the years Keeper and Vitalograph have worked together closely since then. I now have many friends and former colleagues who have worked in this great operation.
Keeper has matured over the years. From our early days, our focus was to bring software engineers to Ireland to work onsite with our clients. Now, we have two offices in Croatia (Zagreb and Varazdin) where we have some really great people. We also have an amazing bunch of remote developers working from Warsaw, Romania and Serbia. At this stage, we only have a few of our engineers working onsite with clients in Ireland (and they’re also a fab bunch!).
Likewise, Vitalograph have matured – modernising their dev stack, improving dev/qa processes and really innovating great pace.
Clare is a super location to live, work or visit. It sticks out into the Atlantic ocean, and has an incredible coast line of cliffs, beaches and reefs. Here’s a fairly hypnotic shot of big ocean swell rolling in on Cornish reef in Lahinch, Co. Clare (about 25 minutes drive from Ennis). I really wouldn’t like one of those waves falling on my head!
I wanted to let you know that we have an opportunity for two senior C# developers to work with us on building the Vitalograph Clinical Data Management product. The roles are based in Croatia – but we will fly you into Co. Clare for two weeks to get to know the people, technology and processes. Whilst you’re there you can get to sample the night life of Ennis and see some of the amazing #WildAtlanticWay in Clare.
